| Sitting Bull: A Stone in My Heart will show at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts August 22, 2009 at 2:00pm as part of their Splendid Heritage Film Series. Las September it had eight showings over four consecutive weekends at the Royal Ontario Museum, Canada's largest and one of the five largest museums in North America. |

| After two sold-out showings at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and a near sell-out at the American Indian Film Festival - San Francisco, Sitting Bull: A Stone in My Heart screened at the Tiburon International Film Festival to, again, a sold out showing. The film then went on to the Ojai Film Festival to, once more, a sold-out crowd.
At the Tiburon International Film Festival, Just before the film's scheduled time Adam Fortunate Eagle who performs the voice of Sitting Bull regaled the people in line to see the film with a native American Ceremonial Blessing to a grateful crowd. He blessed Saeed Shafa, the founder of the Tiburon film festival, the film's director, John Ferry, co-producer and co-writer Grace De Soto Ferry, among others. |

SITTING: BULL: A Stone in My Heart won the BEST DOCUMENTARY award at the Big Water Film Festival in Washburn, WI (Sept. 19-21, 2008). It's our 6th film festival. It continues to show on selected PBS stations in the US, and is currently showing on national public television in Austalia. Recently it had a one-month run at the Royal Ontario Museum - the fith largest museum in North America.

| The Ubersee Museum in Bremen, Germany held an exhibition titled Sitting Bull and His World through May 5, 2009. The exhibit then moved to the Vapriilkki Museum in Tampere, Finland from June 12 to November 11, 2009. It then moves to the Kunst Historiches Museum in Vienna, Austria from December 10 to March 28, 20010. DVD's of Sitting Bull: A Stone in My Heart have and continue to sell in all of the museum's gift shops. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
